Week 34--Ridge Street Begins

Monday, Aug. 17th

At one point in the day, I walked upstairs to find all 3 working on cleaning out their rooms.  Trevor's college dump was exceptional.

Tuesday, Aug. 18th

In the beginning of June we looked at a duplex and put an offer in.  The seller ended up going with a different offer.  That deal fell through and the house was back on the market.  Conveniently, the entire 89-page inspection was made available to us upon my request and based on some of those issues, our second offer was actually less than our first, but they accepted!  A little hiccup with the basement sitch was holding things up, so we asked permission to do the necessary work for the appraiser to sign off.  Me and the boys tackled the very gross basement even though it was still possible our deal wouldn't go through.  I figured risking a day of my life and a couple hundred dollars was worth it if it meant getting the house.

Rocco, in particular, worked his tail off and Trevor came in at the end to offer the extra muscle.  It was hot, smelly, moldiy, spider-webby, and very not fun.  We made 6 trips to the dump and got it done!

After:

The boys had the boys over for games and pool.
Still digging out of the college dump.
Taco Tuesday after a much-needed shower!
Wednesday, Aug. 19th
The last dump run required borrowing the Cour's truck.  And yes, that is a shoe stuck to that carpet.

Filming for Ezra.

Thursday, Aug. 20th
The crew came over for game night.

Friday, Aug. 21st
Covid hike flashback!

Sweet angel baby.

Saturday, Aug. 22nd
Harley had spent the night.

Trevor did the one-day trip to Summitt with the Cours to drop Amanda off at her internship for the year.

Sunday, Aug. 24th
Office duty with the loveliest of ladies.  I had sat through service and done a couple hours in the office and then came home to realize the side zipper of my blouse had been down the entire time!  Fantastic!
Some sweet pictures off Colombo's phone from I'm not exactly sure when.  Colombo and Karen are downsizing and selling their big house of 30+ years.  Purging and packing has been an overwhelming feat!  I can't imagine the physical and emotional toll a job like that takes!  Colombo (and everyone, really) has jumped in when needed.  Even Baby Bo!
