This reminds me so much of something my Dad would do. So sweet! Nothing like a father's love.
I would never pretend that every day is perfect, but I will say that I have truly enjoyed every stage, every season, and 99% of the days, even the challenging ones. There are certainly more than 3 perfect days in childhood.
I have a distinct memory of the sense this gave my 4/5 year old self!
