Into the 3rd week of the North Elm saga, it was time to put the walls and ceilings back together. I feel blessed that I have a 'dream team' of people to call upon. Isaac wasn't going to be available for a few more days and I was anxious to get the tenants back their space, so I called the Moses of Carpentry...my dad. He came over and hung the sheetrock to close up all the cavities and got the first coat of mud on. I watched and chatted and was grateful to see get time with him and see him in action.

Kelly's big graduation day!!!!!
She spotted us! We sat with her parents, her grandfather, and her brother and sister-in-law...a rowdy party of 14, cheering as loud as we could!
All the vendors were open, so it was odd to see people come and go with more beer, hot dogs, and chicken fingers. A good way to pass the time, I suppose. After a couple long hours of various uninspiring speeches....
It was her turn!!! Kelly Marie DiSalvatore, Cum Laude!!!!!

Day 3 in a row for me over at the duplex. Dad had come the day before for coat #2 and 3, so on this day I was able to sand, clean, caulk, and paint the ceilings. Isaac came to rehang cabinets, reinstall lighting, and fix all the things he needed to knock off his list. A l m o s t d o n e...
Lisa snapped a few of my boys at Midweek. It fills my heart, knowing it's where they want to be on a Wednesday night, and it brings back so many similar and fond memories of my youth group experience which undoubtedly left a mark on my life. Also a literal mark- a scar on my knee from playing kickball.
Thursday, May 19th
Maddy randomly came home in the middle of the day with a random person's dog. Something about hospital, police....or something. Anyway....never a dull moment around here!
She also asked me for the video of her duet with Ty which I don't have a digital form of, but did find these pictures. I miss watching her dance sooo much. This was one of my Top 10. These are just pictures of my screen, but you get the idea. 2018:Friday, May 20th
We had Harlem for the day and our first overnight. He loved the Moby and loved being outside.
He finished his 5,000+ piece Lego project.
We spent a couple hours over at Jon and Annie's after dinner to celebrate Andrea's birthday.
Saturday, May 21st
9a soccer game.
After Renna's game, I went over to the duplex for one last finish! I just needed to paint some trim and touch things up.
(blue paint is not dry in picture)
I came home to this:
