Madison was beautiful again in her 3rd Northstar Spring Showcase. This year she danced 2 numbers. Lollipop for tap and Beautiful Butterfly for ballet. She was excellent!!! We are really proud of how hard she works at it and how much she loves it. I forgot to pack her wings (critical detail!), but God was gracious and one other girl's gramma was able to run home and grab an extra set. I realized too late to do anything about it. I'm almost over the trauma it put poor Maddy through. Thank you to all who came and supported her. It always means a lot.

Father's Day
We enjoyed a nice morning of our 2nd annual Treasure Hunt for gifts. The kids are totally into giving Daddy his 4 lined rhymes to lead him to his next gift. Our challenge this year? Keeping a certain un-named 3-year-old quiet about what the presents were and where they were. We also had a mega brunch at the Adam's Mill and enjoyed Madison's recital.
Baseball's over
Colombo had a great year in baseball. It was definitely a learning year. He played in Farm League, which meant 9-12 year olds, so he was the youngest at 8. The kids pitched this year which was, well, a whole new ball game. We also got our first taste of overbearing parents and the politics of the game. All in all, it was a great group of families. Pictured is C4 with Coach Chris. He's played for him for 4 years now. This is the end of season party.

School's Out!
I'm happy to report that as of Friday, May 25th, we are done with another school year. There were days I didn't think it would ever come, but in the end I can see God's goodness and faithfulness in it all. The kids had a great year and learned a lot. Last night our homeschool support group had an open house for kids to show off some of their work and also to display talent. Colombo played a drum solo and Madison recited a scripture passage and did her tap dance routine. They were excellent! Nathanael snuck in a quick guitar solo as the finale. To God be the glory!
