Week 28

Monday, July 10th
Some of the finest young men on the planet.  Off to their last Senior High Camp.
I didn't get any pictures of Maddy.  I offered to 'help' with registration and realized that morning that I was it. Solo.  So I was busy corralling teens who either drove themselves or got dropped off, coordinating with bus and shuttle drivers, figuring out what to do when bus chaperones don't show up, and trying not to miss any instructions.   So I was a little frenzied.  Thankfully Mr. Lohnes got the boys lined up (strict instructions from Linda!) and I snapped one as I was walking by.

This girl can do anything.

She wanted to send Maddy a picture of her new "bikini".  Enjoy, little girl, you won't be wearing a two-piece much longer.
Tuesday, July 11th
We enjoyed another day at Six Flags doing rides.  Another day of no lines, which makes it much more fun!  The swings were stuck almost at the top for an hour.  An hour!  Can you imagine??  Still, my boys went on it after it was fixed.

Trevor spent the day working on some unfinished school business.

Free Slurpees at 7-Eleven on 7/11.

Character Day at camp- Maddy is Piglet standing between Pooh and Tigger.  C4 and 4 other guys built that house and did "Up", which apparently was pretty epic in person and a hit at camp.
Wednesday, July 12th
Crazy kids playing in the pouring rain and laying in the middle of the road.
Thursday, July 13th
The Thank-You Note Brigade and apparently the only picture from the day.
Friday, July 14th

Renna was invited out to help Sadie celebrate "3".
I had the best day hanging with these two beauties.  I wanted to take Avery out for a birthday treat, and as a bonus, Juliet hung with us for the day, too.  We Chik-Fil-A, bubble tea, and shopping.  What gorgeous girls, inside and out.
Camp debriefing.  So good to have them home.
Saturday, July 15th
Renna had spent the night at Lisa's and was up at 6:30 doing chores.

This gang hooked up for the Bubble Run, which in reality was more of a 5K walk.  I even piggy-backed Renna for the last 1/2 mile after she got a blister.  The kids had a blast!

We went home and made a big breakfast.  Rocco made Renna's all by himself; his first chocolate covered strawberries.
After church we went to dinner to celebrate this guy.
Sunday, July 16th
I took the dog for a walk and noticed the sign down at the school.
A very lazy day by the pool.

For the second year, Nathanael and Sean went up to Schroon Lake in NY to do Word of Life camp together.  They both love it so much and would have actually called and stayed for an additional week if it hadn't already been full.  Because they are going into high school, they stay on "The Island" and have to get there by boat, which coincidentally was driven by Russ's grandson who works up there all summer.

Laurie did drop off and we did pick up.
 How beautiful and fun!
 "Mom, take our pitskur."
