Back from our cruise.

We're just back from our cruise for Karen Buckingham's wedding. It was beautiful. The cruise had 2 stops- Key West and Calica (Cancun, Mexixo). They had a beautiful ceremony on the beach in Key West. Karen is a longtime friend of the DiSalvatore's and we wish her and Chris the very best!

The rest of the cruise we had perfect weather. It was a relaxing time away from everything. The kids didn't even miss us. What's up with that?! In fact, when our flight from D.C. was cancelled because of snow and we had to rent a car and drive through the night to get home, the kids were estatic that they'd get another sleepover. If Trevor could talk I know he would have missed me!

And They're Off!

Madison was so cute, and so creative. She had Gunner playing a horse for at least an hour. She created a 'stall' in the kitchen with the stools and leashed him to the door knob. Then she used her fancy dress-up cloak with sparkly edging as a blanket. Her doll, Molly, was the jockey. Gunner was so good about it. The picture doesn't do it justice...it was quite funny.

The Biggest Strawberry

I didn't weigh it, but it's definitely the biggest one I've ever seen!

Great movie...a must-see!

We just watched a really great movie. "Facing the Giants" is a well done Christian movie about a football team. It still has that corniness that comes with being a Christian film, but it's insprational and teaches some good lessons. A must-see for the whole family! You'll laugh, you'll cry! It's a good reminder of God's undeniable love and goodness.
