The Cape, part 2

Continuing on with our Cape week....

Wednesday, Aug. 13th

Exactly one year after their engagement on the Cape, these two were off on their honeymoon- a Mediterranean cruise to several countries including Italy, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, and Turkey.  Their travels involved planes, trains, boats, and buses, so I was mildly concerned, but also trusted that they had the resources to figure it out.  Once they sent this picture of them on the bus en route to the ship, I breathed a sigh of relief.

Kelly's vacation request was to go back to Mashpee Commons and do mini golf.  The girls' team:
The boys' team:

The cutest baby belly.

My favorite shot of the day:

The Top 5 from both teams for a single elimination final round.

After another successful run to Smitty's, we watched all of the Kids Camp room check videos.  We laughed and laughed and laughed.  They were so well-done.

Thursday, Aug. 14th

I love the tenderness Maddy displays.  She's everything I wish I had been as a mom.

I joined the rest of middle aged 'burb women and added a vest to my walking.
For a handful of reasons, we decided to leave Thursday night instead of the planned Friday morning.  Kelly wasn't feeling well, Ezra could sleep in the car, Trevor does better driving at night, we could re-set before New York instead of driving straight through....etc.  So, we spent the afternoon doing laundry, making beds, packing up, and eating leftovers for dinner.  After a final sweep and a prayer of thanks for the O'Bonks, their generosity, and a precious, memorable time together, we loaded up and headed out, arriving home around 10p.

....New York in my next post to round out this week!
